Anak

Anak was an ancestor of the Anakim, a giant people dwelling in Canaan when Israel prepared to enter the land. His sons Ahiman, Sheshai, and Talmai held the city of Hebron and filled the Israelite spies with fear because of their size and strength. Caleb eventually drove them out and possessed Hebron as his inheritance.
