Nehemiah
Darius the Persian king appears in the biblical record as the ruler under whom the returned exiles completed the rebuilding of the temple in Jerusalem. Though he initially received complaints from Judah's adversaries, his investigation confirmed the original decree of Cyrus, and he ordered the work to continue and be fully funded.
