Zibeon was a son of Seir the Horite, and also a forefather of Esau's wife Oholibamah, embedding him in both the Horite genealogy of Edom and the Edomite royal line. He appears in the records of Genesis and 1 Chronicles as a chief among the early inhabitants of Edom.
