John
A water source within Jerusalem (the Pool of Siloam), fed by the Gihon spring via an ancient conduit. In John's Gospel, Jesus sent a blind man there to wash and receive sight, giving the place its name: Siloam means "Sent". Nehemiah's repairs included the nearby spring gate during Jerusalem's post-exile restoration.
